Linda Lou Beatty

Linda Lou Beatty, 83, formerly of Salunga, died peacefully Thursday, December 28, 2023 at Abbeyville Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Lancaster.  Born in Salunga she was the daughter of the late Albert and Irene Baker Rodgers.  She was the widow of the late Arthur J. Redcay and the late Norman Beatty, Jr.  Linda was a homemaker and was a member of Chiques United Methodist Church, and the Walter S. Ebersole Post 185 American Legion Ladies Auxiliary, both of Mount Joy.

     Surviving is a son Arthur J. husband of Joyce Redcay, Roseburg, OR; two daughters Tracye L. wife of Robert E. Fenton, Jr., Lancaster, Teresa L. wife of Douglas Myers, Mount Joy; 7 grandchildren; and 5 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Albert K. Rodgers.

     Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend her funeral service at the Buch Funeral Home, 21 W. Main St. Mount Joy, on Thursday, January 4, 2024 at 12:00 noon.  Interment will be in Laural Hill Memorial Gardens, Columbia.  There will be a time of viewing and visitation at the funeral home on Thursday from 11:00 AM until the time of the service.
