Linda A. Petersen, 74, of Marietta, went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Monday, February 23, 2015. She was the wife of Harro J. Petersen, and they celebrated 55 years of marriage this past January. Born in Bronx, NY she was the daughter of the late Christian and Anne (Stoltz) Boccaccino. Linda was a homemaker most of her working life and also the owner/operator of the Sleepy Hollow Bed & Breakfast. She was a member of Mary Mother of the Church, Mount Joy, and was a member of the Marietta Majestics Red Hat Society of Marietta. Her hobbies included quilting, embroidering, camping, and was an avid Doll House builder and collector, but her major love was spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Surviving in addition to her husband are her children Michael husband of Amanda Petersen, Middletown; Laura wife of Arthur Parrinello, Millersville; Scott husband of Terry Petersen, North Port, FL; Eric husband of Miriam Petersen, Gap; Paul husband of Suzanne Petersen, Jessica wife of Victor Shaud, and Sandra wife of David Paul all of Bainbridge; twenty-four grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; a sister Anne wife of James Graham, Wrightsville; and a brother Chris husband of Joan Boccaccino of Florida. She was preceded in death by a grandson Joshua Carl Petersen, and a brother Robert Boccaccino.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend her Mass of Christian Burial at Mary Mother of the Church, 625 Union School Road, Mount Joy, on Friday February 27, 2015 at 11:00 A.M. with Rev. Fr. Pang S. Tcheou as Celebrant. Interment will be in Bainbridge Cemetery. Their will be a public visitation on Thursday at the Buch Funeral Home, 21 W. Main St. Mount Joy from 6:00 – 8:00 PM, and also on Friday at the church from 10:00 AM until the time of the service.
