Levi W. Mumma

        Levi W. Mumma, 80, of Manheim, passed away on Tuesday, August 27, 2024, at Hershey Medical Center. Born in Rapho Township, he was the son of the late Levi H. and Martha Williams Mumma. He was the loving husband of Marie K. Wine Mumma, and they would have observed their 60th wedding anniversary next January. Levi was a real estate agent for Penn Realty and an appraiser for the Bill Hess Agency. He was a member of South Lebanon Community Church where he enjoyed teaching Sunday School and engaging in animated conversation about scripture and theology. Levi loved spending time with his family, and he was never happier than when they were together. He never met a stranger, and he valued people from all walks of life. An avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed hunting and gardening, especially his zinnias and Peruvian daffodils. He loved to dress up and found great joy in matching his shirts and ties.

       Surviving in addition to his wife, Marie, are children; Renee D. (Gary) Groff of Annville, Gayle M. (Scott) Huber of Lititz, Jonathan L. (Amy) Mumma of Lititz, Matthew A. (Charis) Mumma of Boise, ID, grandchildren; Molly (Dustin) Finefrock, Hannah (Zachary) Wynn, Marcus, Kate, and Lauren Huber, Jacob and Joshua Mumma, one great grandchild due January 2025, siblings; Rosella McCormick of Georgia, Robert Mumma of Lebanon, and Dolores (Peter) Seibert of Lebanon. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Baby Girl Mumma, a brother-in-law, Jack McCormick, and a sister-in-law, Delores Mumma.

        Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Levi’s Celebration of Life Service at South Lebanon Community Church, 13 Evergreen Road, Lebanon, on Saturday, August 31, 2024, at 10:00 AM. There will be a time of visitation at the church on Friday, August 30, 2024, from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM and again at the church on Saturday morning from 9:00 AM until the time of service. Private interment in Gingrich Mennonite Cemetery, Lebanon.
