Leon L. Deck

 Leon L. Deck, 83, of Manheim passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, January 19, 2025. Born in Tulpehocken, Berks County, he was the son of the late Lester and Margarete Dubble Deck. He was the loving husband of Reba B. Pierce Deck and they would have observed their 57th wedding anniversary this May. Leon retired from the former Wilbur Chocolate Mount Joy Division. He was a member of Erb Mennonite Church where he served as an usher and bell ringer. 

 Surviving in addition to his wife are two sons, Norman L. Deck and Nathan R. Deck fiancé of Julie Sisko both of Manheim, five grandchildren, six great grandchildren and five siblings. He was preceded in death by three siblings.

 Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Leon’s Funeral Service at Erb Mennonite Church, 567 West Lexington Road, Lititz on Saturday, January 25, 2025 at 11:00 AM. There will be a viewing at the Buch Funeral Home, 21 Market Square, Manheim on Friday evening from 6:00 PM – 7:30 PM and again at the church on Saturday morning from 10:00 AM until the time of service. Interment in the adjoining church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may send contributions in Leon’s memory to Hospice & Community Care, P.O. Box 4125, Lancaster, PA 17604-4125.
