Lenora C. Aument

Lenora C. Aument, 77, of Lititz, died Wednesday, January 19, 2011 at Conestoga View and Rehabilitation Center, Lancaster. She was the wife of Charles E. Aument, and they celebrated 58 years of marriage on January 17, 2011. Born in Lancaster she was the daughter of the late Tobias and Lulu (Retalick) Cunningham. Lenora was a retired supervisor for the Woodstream Corp. of Lititz. She was a member of St. John Lutheran Church of Lancaster, was a life member of the Elstonville Sportsmen Association, and was a member of the Shasta Camping Club. Lenora also enjoyed knitting, crocheting, and reading.
Surviving in addition to her husband are two sons, Gerald E. (Joe) husband of Ruth Aument of Manheim, Daniel A. Aument of Lititz, a daughter Carol A. Nessinger of Manheim, five grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and a brother Richard Cunningham of Lancaster. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a son Charles E. Aument, Jr., a grandson Jesse Michael Aument, a sister Anna Mae Ahnert, and a brother Benjamin Cunningham.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend her funeral service at the Buch Funeral Home, 21 Market Square, Manheim PA, on Sunday January 23, 2011 at 5:00 P.M. with Rev. Margaret Kassees officiating. There will be a public viewing on Sunday at the funeral home from 4:00 p.m. until the time of the service. Interment will be at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.
