Leah A. Markley

Leah A. Markley, 55, of Elizabethtown, passed away on Monday, August 16, 2010.

Born in Manheim she was the daughter of the late Harold and Verdella (Ruhl) Markley. Leah was a former member of Ruhls United Methodist Church. She enjoyed computer games, collecting owls, Elvis Presley and Michael Jackson memorabilia. Her greatest joy was spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Surviving are five children, Billy J. Sr. husband of Lisa Markley of Elizabethtown, Brian Markley of Marietta, Kandy Blantz, Arlington Blantz, and Jeff, husband of Jen Blantz all of Manheim; eighteen grandchildren; one brother and two sisters. Preceding her in death are an infant daughter, two brothers, and a sister.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend her funeral service from the Buch Funeral Home 21 Market Square, Manheim, on Tuesday, August 24, 2010 at 7:00 P.M. with Pastor Rob Timlin officiating. Interment will be in Ruhls United Methodist Cemetery on Wednesday, August 25, 2010 at 10:00 A.M. There will be a public viewing at the Buch Funeral Home on Tuesday evening from 6:00 P.M. until the time of the service.
