Laura E. Obetz

Laura E. Obetz, 92, of Manheim, died peacefully at home on Sunday, July 26, 2015. Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late Raymond and Ella Mae Bauder Worley. She was the loving wife of Robert W. Obetz Sr. who died in August of 2002. Laura worked many years for Worley and Obetz, Manheim; the company that was founded by her father and husband. She was a 1941 graduate of Manheim High School. Laura’s life-long passion was her family.

Surviving is a son, Robert W. Jr. husband of Marjory Suzanne Kuhn Obetz of Manheim, a daughter, Linda L. wife of Edward T. Peel of Manheim, nine grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren, two sisters: Verna Long of Manheim, and Yvonne wife of Glen Diehm of Lititz.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. Interment will be in Manheim Fairview Cemetery, Penn Township.
