Kenneth L. “Ken” Stauffer Sr., 85, of Manheim passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, August 31, 2024, surrounded by his family. Born in Manheim, he was the son of the late Christian B. and Lena W. Nissley Stauffer. He was the loving husband of C. Verdella Zurin Stauffer and they would have observed their 67th wedding anniversary this December. Ken retired from Raymark Industries after 39 years and following retirement, he worked for the Manheim Auto Auction for 18 years. Ken was a member of Jerusalem Church, Manheim, Manheim Masonic Lodge #587 F&AM, Lebanon Tall Cedars #27, Rajah Shrine Club, Reading Consistory, Order of the Amaranth, Lancaster and Order of Eastern Star, Elizabethtown Chapter. He enjoyed camping and was a member of the Fireflies Camping Club. Ken loved to spend time with his family, especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren.

 Surviving in addition to his wife is a son, Kenneth L. Stauffer Jr. companion of Leona Rice-Morrow of Manheim, two grandchildren, Ryan husband of Clara Stauffer of York and Amanda Stauffer companion of Thomas A. Rodgers Jr. of Manheim, three great grandchildren, Abigail and Austin Rodgers and Jazmine Hanna. He is also survived by Brenda D. Elliott. Ken was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Eugene Stauffer.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Ken’s Funeral Service at Jerusalem Church, 1620 Newport Road, Manheim (In the Village of Penryn) on Saturday, September 7, 2024 at 10:30 AM. There will be a viewing at the church on Saturday morning from 9:30 AM until the time of service. Interment in Penryn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may send contributions in Ken’s to Manheim Masonic Lodge #587, 30 South Linden Street, Manheim, PA 17545.
