Kenneth Lee Faus, 59, of Lititz, passed away from this earth on Sunday, April 10, 2011 surrounded by those who loved him most. Born in Rapho Township, he was the son of the late Lester and Ruth Hess Faus. Ken was a partner with Window Schemes and Dreams of Penryn for 27years. He was the loving husband of Sue Faus; and they observed their 35th wedding anniversary in December of 2010. Hunting was his passion in life, and he spent a great deal of time in Potter County and hunting throughout the United States and Canada. Ken was a life member of the North American Hunting Club. Other memberships included: Germania Band Club, Manheim, and the Manheim VFW Post 5956. He was a 1969 graduate of Manheim Central High School. Riding motorcycles was the other joy which he shared with Sue. They traveled most of the United States with friends. Ken had a generous heart and helped others whenever he was needed. Sue would like to express her deepest thanks to all those who have been our support since his cancer diagnosis. Surviving in addition to his wife is a step son, Tim husband of Lisa Martz of Freeland, PA., a step daughter, Angi Rosenberry of Manheim, three step grandchildren: Nate, Tyler, Sara, and two sisters: Audrey wife of Gene Irwin of Mechanicsburg, and Linda Pennino. Preceding him in death are two sisters: Diana Gast and Sharon Shelly. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend his funeral service from St. Paul's United Church of Christ 50 North Main Street, Manheim on Thursday, April 14, 2011 at 2:00 PM with Pastor R. Eugene Hill officiating. Interment is in East Fairview Church of The Brethren Cemetery, Rapho Township. There will be a viewing at the church on Thursday from 12:00 Noon until the time of the service. The family encourages everyone to dress casually for Ken's service.
