Kenneth L. Lishman, of Manheim, died on Wednesday, November 18, 2015 at the Lancaster General Hospital. Ken was the loving husband of Nancy L. Adair Lishman, and they would have observed their 63rd wedding anniversary in December of this year. For 14 years Ken worked as an auto mechanic for J. Harold Merkey Auto Dealership; previously, he was employed as a plumber for Dissinger and Connelly Company. Ken served in the U.S. Navy on the USS Ticonderoga during the Korean War. He was a member of St. Paul’s United Church of Christ, Manheim. Ken was a life member of the Manheim VFW Post 5956, and a member of the Hope Fire Engine and Hose Company Number One of Manheim. Surviving in addition to his wife Nancy, are many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Ken’s memorial service at St. Paul’s United Church of Christ, 50 North Main Street, Manheim, on Monday, November 23, 2015 at 11:00 AM. Friends may visit with the family at the church on Monday morning from 10:00 AM until the time of the service.
Interment with military honors will be in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville.
