Kay B. Bigley

Kay B. Bigley, 80, formerly of Mount Pleasant, died Sunday, September 25, 2022, at Masonic Village of Elizabethtown, where she and her husband were residing. She was the loving wife of Richard E. Bigley, and they celebrated 59 years of marriage in August. Born in Altoona, she was the daughter of the late Lester and Nellie (Brown) Faith. Kay was a 1960 graduate of Scottdale High School. After graduating in 1963 from the Homestead Hospital School of Nursing, she worked as a registered nurse for 30 years at the Frick Community Hospital before retiring in 1998. Kay was a member of the Mount Pleasant Baptist Church. Her hobbies included quilting, sewing, and swimming.

Surviving in addition to her husband Richard is a son Paul, husband of Debbie Bigley, Troy, OH; daughter Jill, wife of John Lesniak, Elizabethtown; and three grandchildren Jenna Kay, Jessica, and Matthew. She was also preceded in death by a brother Jerry Faith, and two sisters, Joan Sowansky and Susan Faith.
