Kathryn “Kitty” A. Rohrer, 83, formerly of Manheim, passed away peacefully after a short illness on Sunday morning, February 7, 2016 at Country Meadows of Lancaster. Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late Benjamin L. and Florence Myers Huber. She was the wife of the late C. Kendig Rohrer who passed away January 31, 2010. They celebrated their 58th wedding anniversary on December 8, 2009.
Kitty was a home maker and worked with her husband on their chicken farm and his Used Car Business. She was a life-long member of East Petersburg Mennonite Church, Sewing Circle and Neighbors Together Ladies Group. Kitty attended the East Petersburg Elementary School and Hempfield High School. Her interests included camping, cross stitching, volunteering at the Mennonite Home Therapy Pool, and traveling; especially to their cabin in Juniata County and most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family.
Surviving are four children, Arlene H. wife of J. Robert Zimmerman, James H. husband of Sue Anne Elliott Rohrer, Carl H. husband of Roberta J. Groff Rohrer all of Manheim, Kathy H. wife of Kenneth R. Leaman of Willow Street; nine grandchildren, Briana wife of Nathaniel Baum, Brittany wife of Cameron Nolt, J. Austin, Renee, Stephanie, and Adam K. Rohrer husband of Danielle, Alecia Rohrer, Katelyn wife of Matt Blank and Kyle Leaman; three great granddaughters, Kaylee and Makena Baum and Carolyn Grace Rohrer and daughter-in-law Patti Whitcomb Rohrer of Lancaster. She was preceded in death by her son, Paul H. Rohrer, twin granddaughters, Kelsey and Kayla Rohrer, her brother, John M. Huber and her sister, Anna Huber Metzler.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend her funeral service at East Petersburg Mennonite Church, 6279 Main Street East Petersburg, PA on Friday, February 12, 2016 at 11:00 AM with Pastors K. Eugene Forrey, Glen M. Sell and Robert E. Nolt officiating. Interment will be in the adjoining church cemetery. There will be a public viewing at the church on Thursday evening, February 11, from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM and again on Friday morning from 10:00 AM until the time of service. Please omit flowers.
