Kathleen Waltz

Kathleen "Kathy" Waltz, 56, of Mount Joy, died Friday surrounded by her loving family, at the Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia. She was the wife of Richard Waltz and they celebrated 26 years of marriage this past August. Born in Pittsburgh she is the daughter of Robert O'Donnell of Neffsville and the late Dorothy (Laufle) O'Donnell. Kathy was an assembler at Tyco Electronics of Mount Joy. She attended LCBC and loved her Lord. Kathy enjoyed cooking, traveling to Ocean City, MD, the PA mountains, and her grandchildren. Surviving in addition to her husband and father is a daughter Tina Long and her fianc" Daryl Calhoun of Lititz; a son Walter "Butchie" Ream of Lititz; three grandchildren Tara Long, Kayla Long, and Madison Calhoun; a brother Robert husband of Kathy O'Donnell of Strasburg;four sisters Deborah wife of Robert Shope of Manheim Twp., Diane wife of Michael Gordon of Lancaster, Barbara wife of Randolph Behm of New Providence, and Carol O'Donnell of New Providence, and her step-mother Jane O'Donnell of Neffsville. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend her funeral services at the Heilig Funeral Home, 21 W Main St. Mount Joy, PA on Thursday December 8, 2011 at 11:00 A.M. Interment will be in Mount Joy Cemetery. There will be a time of visitation with the family on Thursday at the funeral home from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the service.
