Kathleen S. "Kathi" Durborow

   Kathleen S. “Kathi” Durborow, 69, of Harrisburg, died peacefully surrounded by her family on Friday, January 10, 2025 at UPMC Harrisburg Hospital. Born in Harrisburg, she was the daughter of the late James A. “Jim” and Mary Elizabeth “Betty” Macumber Durborow. For many years Kathi worked as an Administrative Assistant in the Building Industry. She enjoyed crafts of all types even making over 1,600 special Catholic rosaries. Kathi deeply loved her family and friends. She was a lifetime, faithful member of St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church, Harrisburg. She was passionate about her Catholic faith being active in Perpetual Adoration, Cursillo and Charismatic Movements and was an avid prayer intercessor.

   Surviving are two sisters: Patty wife of Brad Johnson of Sandy, UT, Vicki Krone of Etters, a sister-in-law, Cindy Durborow of New Cumberland, two brothers: Steve husband of Marie Durborow, of Mount Joy, Tom husband of Dori Durborow of Hershey, many nieces and nephews, many grand nieces, and grand nephews, and several God children. Preceding her in death are two brothers: Chris and Jimmy Durborow, and brother-in-law, Bob Krone.

    Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church, 2800 Paxton Church Road, Harrisburg, on Thursday, January 16, 2025 at 11:00 AM. There will be a viewing at the church on Thursday morning from 10:00 AM until the time of the Mass. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family in Resurrection Cemetery, Harrisburg. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be sent in Kathi’s memory to St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church, 2800 Paxton Church Road, Harrisburg, PA 17110.
