Julie A. Thompson, 62, of Lititz, died peacefully on Saturday, September 1, 2018 at the Lancaster General Hospital. Born in Hazelton, she was the daughter of Paul and Dolores Gorski Falatko of Freeland. Julie was the loving wife of Arthur R. Thompson Jr. She worked many years as a dental assistant for Dr. Brian D. Sowatsky. Her interests included flower gardening, reading, being in the outdoors; and traveling with her family to Harveys Lake in Luzerne County. Julie had a life-long passion for her family; and was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother.
Surviving in addition to her husband, and parents, is a daughter, Meghan wife of Todd Spayde of Lititz, a son, Bryan Thompson of Santa Cruz, CA., three grandchildren: Olivia, Ethan, Avery, and three brothers: Paul Jr. husband of Nadine Falatko of Kutztown, Rob Falatko of Freeland, and Jim husband of Mary Falatko of Freeland.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Julie’s memorial service at the Buch Funeral Home, 216 South Broad Street, Lititz, on Saturday, September 8, 2018 at 2:00 PM. Friends may visit with the family on Saturday afternoon from 1:00 PM until the time of the service. Interment will be private.
