Joyce B. Enck, 57, of Lititz, went home to be with her Lord on Sunday, June 21, 2015 at Hospice and Community Care, Mount Joy. Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of Grace (Brubaker) Stauffer of Lititz, and the late Clarence Snyder Stauffer. She was the loving wife of the late Irvin C. Enck who died in August of last year. Since 1983 Joyce was employed as a nurse for Friendship Community, Lititz, working up until her illness. She was also a certified medication administration trainer for the PA Department of Public Welfare. As a licensed practical nurse Joyce served as a volunteer instructor for CPR and First Aid for the American Heart Association, and the American Red Cross. She was a member of Village Mennonite Chapel, Voganville. Joyce had a passion for music, playing the guitar, and participating in special ensemble choirs touring the United States as well as singing classical music with local community choirs. She enjoyed ballroom dancing, traveling, and playing table tennis.
Surviving in addition to her mother, is a daughter, Tanya Lynn wife of Kenny McCardell of Lancaster, a son, Tyler Lee husband of Rebekkah (Hall) Enck of Lititz, a step grandson, Brennan McCardell, a brother, David B. husband of Barbara (Rutt) Stauffer of Mount Joy, and a sister, Nancy B. wife of Ivan Wenger, of Lititz.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Joyce’s Memorial Celebration at Dove Westgate Church, 1755 West Main Street, Ephrata, on Sunday, June 28, 2015 at 3:00 PM. The family will receive friends at Dove Westgate Church on Sunday afternoon from 2:00 PM until the time of the service.
