Three beloved children of Mark A. and Marilyn K. Landis Martin of Manheim, Jordan Daniel Martin, 16, Kyle David Martin, 16, and Joelyn Marie Martin, 9, died Tuesday, December 6, 2011 as a result of an automobile accident on Route 72 north of Manheim. That instant Jordan, Kyle, and Joelyn were released into the presence of the Lord and the freedom of eternity. They were members of Life Center Ministries International in Harrisburg. The children were homeschooled and were part of the Manheim Area Christian Homeschoolers. Jordan and Kyle were both solid young men with great potential. They were dedicated, stood firm in what they believed, and never backed down from challenges. As twins, they worked well together and each one's individual strengths complemented the other's throughout their lives. Jordan loved music, drums, and working with all types of technology. He was a master at organizing and finishing tasks. He had a servant's heart, always willing to serve without being asked. Kyle enjoyed playing the guitar, snowmobiling, and he had a knack for understanding and repairing mechanical things. He was easy going, loved to be around people and had a great sense of humor. Joelyn was gentle, caring, and full of energy. She had an amazing heart and a love for every animal on this earth. Like her brothers, she was musically gifted and enjoyed playing piano and singing in a church choir. She also liked to read. Surviving in addition to their parents are two brothers: Joshua and Joseph, five sisters: Katilyn, Kirsten, Krystal, Katrina, Katurah, all at home, maternal grandparents, Earl N. and Evelyn Landis of Manheim, paternal grandparents, J. Mark and Anna Martin of Manheim, and a large extended family.
