Jon P. J P Hossler, 21, of 725 Church Road, Manheim, died Sunday, July 4, 2010 following an automobile accident in Rapho Township.
Born in Lancaster, he was the son of Jon Eric and Kim M. Teausant Hossler. Jonny was a sweet caring person who only had good things to say. He had a big heart and was always willing to help anyone. With his arched eyebrow and crooked grin he always made you laugh. He loved working on cars and doing custom work to them. He was a very unique person who marched to the beat of his own drum. Jonny had many, many friends and was truly loved. He touched many lives.
Jon worked as an Assistant Manager for Monro Muffler Brake and Service Company in Elizabethtown for the past five years. He also helped his family at the former Best Friend Pet Supply Company, at Roots Country Auction, Manheim. Jon graduated from the Elizabethtown Area School District, and the Lancaster County Career and Technology Center, Mount Joy Campus. For two summers he helped his Dad care for a Bison herd at the Destiny Ranch in Carlisle Springs. Jon love animals of all types, and grew up with the family Great Danes and farm animals that he helped take care of.
Surviving in addition to his parents, are paternal grandparents: Ken and Nancy Hossler of Manheim, maternal grandmother, Joyce Grouchy of Lancaster, aunts, nieces and nephews.
