John A. Lutz

John A. Lutz, 64, of Manheim, died on Sunday, December 8, 2024 at Mt. Hope Nazarene Retirement Community. He was husband of Tammy S. (Hammond) Lutz of Manheim. Born in Morgantown on December 13, 1959, he was the son of the late Lester and Margaret (Elliott) Lutz.

John worked for Lancaster Malleable Castings for 25 years. He also enjoyed driving his Amish friends around. He attended LCBC and was a volunteer at Mt. Hope.

In addition to Tammy, John is survived by two daughters Tara Buss and her husband Tom of Lancaster, Heather Seitz of York; two grandsons Ethan and Benjamin Buss; a sister Rebecca Espinosa and her husband Hector and their daughter Ashley; five brothers Lester, Robert, Dennis, Wally and Jimmy Lutz. He was preceded in death by a brother Edward.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 13, 2024 at Noon at the Buch Funeral Home, 21 Market Square, Manheim. A viewing will be held Friday from 10:00 am until the time of service. Burial will be in Hernley Mennonite Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Mt. Hope Nazarene Retirement Community, 3026 Mt. Hope Home Road, Manheim.
