John C. Hoffman Jr., 44, of Brunnerville, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, April 20, 2016. He is the son of the late John Hoffman Sr. and Brenda Shenk Hoffman Gardner, wife of Elwood Gardner, Brunnerville.
He graduated from Warwick High School in 1990 and was a member of Boy Scout Troop 156 in Brunnerville. John worked at Giant in Ephrata and was a former cook at Ephrata Manor.
Known for his outgoing personality, John was kind to everyone he met and enjoyed talking to people. He had a witty sense of humor and always knew how to make people laugh. John liked listening to music and was an avid fan of Star Wars and the Philadelphia Eagles.
He enjoyed watching the Walking Dead with his niece, WWE wrestling with his brother and especially loved spending time at Middle Creek with his son and daughter, who were his pride and joy.
A loving father, brother, son, and friend, the number of lives he touched are endless and he will be greatly missed.
In addition to his mother, Brenda Gardner, he is survived by his daughter, Samantha Hoffman, Denver; son, John C. Hoffman III, Denver; brother and best friend, Jason, husband of Georgianne Hoffman, Lititz; and niece and nephew, Sarah and Evan Hoffman.
Family and Friends are respectfully invited to attend a Funeral Service to celebrate John’s life at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 27, 2016 at the Buch-Heisey Funeral Home, 216 S. Broad St., Lititz, with a viewing from 5:00 p.m. until the time of the service. Interment will be held privately in the Brunnerville United Methodist Cemetery.
