Jo-Anne Trostle Illard

Jo-Anne Trostle Illard, 79, formerly of Mount Joy and West Palm Beach, FL, died Saturday, April 19, 2014 at Longwood Manor, Maytown. Born in Lawn, PA, she was the daughter of the late Andrew and Margaret (Lehman) Trostle. She was the wife of the late Joseph Illard
.
Jo-Anne had worked as a secretary in the mental health industry in New Hampshire and Florida. She had attended the United Methodist Church of the Palm Beaches, West Palm Beach, FL. She was a former member of the Lancaster Ski Club. She enjoyed needlepoint, golfing, attending social events, and spending time with her friends.

Surviving is her daughter Michele R., wife of Gary York, Candia, NH, her son J. Michael, husband of Wendy Melhorn, Mount Joy, and three grandchildren: Megan Elizabeth Cowette, her fiancé Peter Hendee, Aaron Melhorn, his fiancée Samantha Kaufhold, Andrea Melhorn, and great grandson Jack Paul Hendee. She was preceded in death by four sisters and two brothers.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend her memorial service at Reich’s Evangelical Congregational Church, 338 Stackstown Road, Marietta, PA on Friday, April 25, 2014 at 11:00 AM. Interment will be private. There will be a time of visitation with the family following the service.
