Joanne M. Sweigart

Joanne M. Sweigart, 80, of Akron, passed away on Monday, July 3, 2023 at Promedica Skilled Nursing and Rehab. Center, Lebanon. Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late Warren and Thelma Saner Reynolds. She was the wife of the late Wilbur E. Sweigart who died in 2017. Joanne enjoyed bowling, riding her horse, country music and spending time at the beach and with her family.

Surviving are seven children: Donna May, Cindy Mercado, Don, Doug, Dwayne, Jay Reynolds and Tina Marshall, 18 grandchildren; Nicole Lubold, Mark Manley, Shane and Sheena Reynolds, Amanda and Alex Mercado, Selena, Nestor, Dominick, Antonio and Isabella Peraza, Brittany May, Natalie Mayer, Annmarie, Sara, Nelson, Jordan Reynolds and Tameassa Eckert, several great grandchildren and three siblings: Don Reynolds, Doris Leonard and Joyce Boczon. She was preceded in death by six siblings and two grandchildren.
