Joan A. Selzle, 77, of Lititz, died peacefully on Tuesday, July 18, 2017 at Moravian Manor. Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late John D. and Yvonne Racely Beck. Joan worked as a bus transportation aid for IU13 in Lancaster County. Previously she worked for a Veterinarian and was a Labrador Retriever Dog Breeder. Earlier in life she was the owner/operator of Windsong Farm Boarding Kennel. She was a member of Trinity Evangelical Congregational Church, Lititz; where she was active in the choir and played piano for the children’s choir. Her interests included: crocheting, vegetable and flower gardening, canning, reading, and playing the piano.
Surviving are three daughters and one son: Sherie Daniel of Lansdale, Susan wife of Michael Davis of Douglassville, Brenda Richter of York, James husband of Jennifer Richter of Lancaster; seven grandchildren, and eight great grandchildren. Preceding her in death are two grandchildren, one great grandson, a brother and a sister.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Joan’s memorial service at the Trinity Evangelical Congregational Church, 44 East Orange Street, Lititz, on Saturday, August 12, 2017 at 11:00 AM.
