Jeri Ann Herr

Jeri Ann Herr, 89, of Lancaster, died peacefully, Sunday, December 8, 2024 at Hospice and Community Care, Mount Joy. She was the widow of E. Richard “Dick” Herr who died in 2015. Born in Salunga, she was the daughter of the late Vern and Mary (Frankhouser) Heistand. Jeri along with her late husband were the owner/operators of the former Herr’s Dry cleaning of Millersville, Lancaster, Strasburg, and Willow Street. Jeri enjoyed watching old Hollywood movies, traveling, reading the newspaper, and spending summers at the “The Cottage” in Mt. Gretna since 1969. But what gave Jeri the greatest joy was talking and spending time with her family.

 Surviving is a daughter Gretchen wife of Terry Housner, Mt. Gretna; two granddaughters Sarah wife of Jason Goe, Holtwood, Hannah Lipman and companion Bryant Gregory of Louisville, KY; and two great-grandchildren Jackson and Scarlett Goe.

 Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend her graveside funeral service at Manheim Fairview Cemetery, 98 West Sun Hill Road, Saturday, December 14, 2024 at 12 noon.
