Jere Arthur Habecker

March 27, 1935 — November 9, 2015

Jere Arthur Habecker, 80, formerly of Mountain Road, Manheim, died peacefully at Audubon Villa, Lititz on Monday, November 9, 2015. Born in Lancaster, he was the son of the late Arthur and Margaret Bair Habecker. His father, Arthur, was one of the Habecker triplets of Manheim. Jere was employed as a glazier for Pittsburgh Plate & Glass and later Howell’s Glass, Lancaster where he retired. Jere was very fond of animals, especially dogs. He enjoyed spending time outdoors, mowing his lawn, and taking country drives throughout Lancaster County.

Surviving are three daughters, Laurie Ann wife of Clyde Rose of St. Helena Island, SC, Linda wife of David Eshleman of Leola, and Judy wife of Thomas Swarr of Manheim; three grandchildren, Trevor Groff, fiancé of Sharon Hall, Emily wife of John Snavely, and Aaron Swarr; a brother, Terry husband of Pat Habecker of Lititz, and nephew Terry Habecker Jr. of Lititz.

Services will be private and at the convenience of the family. Interment will be in Hernley Mennonite Cemetery, Rapho Township.
