Jeffrey T. Dempsey

Jeffrey T. “Jeff” Dempsey, 50, of Manheim died unexpectedly on Thursday, January 2, 2014 at Lancaster General Hospital. Born in Lancaster, he was the son of Joan Yoder Wickenheiser of Lancaster and the late James Wickenheiser. He was the loving companion of Laura Hartl of Manheim. Jeff was a warehouse supervisor at MBM, Lancaster for over fifteen years.
Surviving in addition to his mother and companion are two sons, Daniel Terry of Lancaster and Jared Dempsey of Hummelstown, two brothers, Doug Wickenheiser and Craig husband of Sue Wickenheiser both of Lancaster, six sisters, Jill Dempsey companion of Faye Yarber, Jodi wife of Dennis Bowman, Karen wife of Mark Wingenroth, Teresa Wickenheiser, Janeen wife of Larry Milburn and Jennifer wife of Shawn Moses all of Lancaster, many nieces and nephews and his dog, Bella.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend his memorial service at the Buch Funeral Home, 21 Market Square, Manheim on Friday, January 10, 2014 at 7:00 PM. Interment will be private. Friends may visit with the family from 6:00 PM until the time of service. Please omit flowers.
