Jeanne L. Reischer

  Jeanne Reischer, age 95, formerly of Mount Joy passed away on November 11, 2023 at Ware Presbyterian Village in Oxford, PA.  

She was the daughter of the late William and Martha (Good) Brientnall and  was predeceased by her 5 siblings Victor, William, John, Esther and Margaret.   

She was married for 67 years to her late husband Bob Reischer and is survived by her three sons Bob (Linda/dec’d) Kalamazoo, MI, Dave (Linda) Lugoff, SC and Gary (Debbie) Chadds Ford, PA. 

When asked to name the important people in her life, she said 

“My 3 sons are very important!”.

She is also survived by and known as MomMom to her 7 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. When asked to share stories about her grands, she said “There are too many to share….They are all wonderful children!”.  

She had a lifelong love of music.  Even in her 95th year, she thoroughly enjoyed playing her piano for hours at a time.  It served as pleasure for her and entertainment for everyone around her.

She also enjoyed preparing and gifting Christmas cookies to her family and extended family.  And, who doesn’t like her parmesan chicken?
