Jean M. Doyle, 77 of Manheim, died peacefully surrounded by her family and friends on Friday, August 27, 2010 at the Lancaster General Hospital.
Born in Lancaster County, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Mary Heisey Kilefner. Jean retired after working at the Pleasant View Retirement Community Manheim. She was the loving wife of Clarence CR Doyle, and they observed their 55th wedding anniversary in July of this year. She was a member of Jerusalem Church Manheim. Jean was a member of the Elstonville Sportsmen Association. Her interests included: cooking, baking, shopping, traveling, Manheim Central Baron Football, and NASCAR Racing. She had a passion for her family, and she enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Surviving in addition to her husband, are two daughters: Debora L. wife of George Ronald Nunemaker of Manheim, Diane M. Hossler fiance of Steve Leigey of Lititz, two sons: Douglas R. husband of Deborah Messman Doyle, David L. husband of Lori Shelly Doyle all of Manheim, eight grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, a brother, Robert husband of Jane Kilefner of Lititz, three sisters: Shirley wife of Donald Royer of Ephrata, Nancy wife of David Popple of Wisconsin, Ruth wife of Carl Stanfil of Tennessee. Preceding her in death is a sister, Mary Leibfried.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend her funeral service at the Jerusalem Church, 1620 Newport Road, Manheim, on Tuesday, August 31, 2010 at 10:30 AM with Pastor Alan J. Yudt officiating. Interment is in Manheim Fairview Cemetery, Penn Township. There will be a public viewing at the church on Tuesday morning from 9:30 AM until the time of the service.
