Jean L. Yoder, 64, of Manheim passed away on Friday, August 24, 2012 at Magnolias of Lancaster. Born in Roaring Spring, she was the daughter of the late John and Elizabeth (Wolgemuth) Honsaker. She was the loving wife of G. Sanford Yoder and they celebrated their 44th wedding anniversary this month. Jean graduated from the Lancaster School of Nursing. She worked as an RN at Lancaster General Hospital in the pediatric unit, Masonic Village Health Care Center, Elizabethtown and Hershey Medical Center in the child psychology unit. Jean was an active member at Grace Church of Lititz where she served as a deaconess. She was also involved with the church choir, bell choir and bible studies. Her interests included flower gardening, helping others and entertaining family and friends. She loved to spend time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Surviving in addition to her husband are four sons, Matthew K. Yoder husband of Jennifer Zimmerman of New York City, J. Mark Yoder husband of Ellen Wu of Atlanta, Georgia, Jon C. Yoder of Harrisburg, Adam S. husband of Ysella Yoder of Bristol, England, and a daughter, Angie Yoder, five grandchildren, Trinity, Ava, Eli, Tate and Tristan, a brother, Karl husband of Miriam Honsaker of Vermont and two sisters, Peggy wife of Lowell Bechtel of Greenwood, Delaware, Judy wife of Jeremy Walter of State College and brother-in-law, Carlos Munoz of Costa Roca. She was preceded in death by a sister, Ann Munoz. The family would like to thank the staff at Magnolias of Lancaster memory care community for their compassion and loving care given to Jean during her illness. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend her funeral service at Grace Church of Lititz, 501 West Lincoln Avenue, Lititz on Wednesday, August 29, 2012 at 11:00 AM. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family in Allensville Mennonite Cemetery. There will be a public viewing at the Buch Funeral Home, 21 Market Square, Manheim on Tuesday evening from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and again at the church on Wednesday morning from 10:00 AM until the time of service.
