Jean L. Keller, 65, of Manheim, went home to be with her Lord after a courageous battle with cancer on Saturday, June 16, 2012 at the Lancaster General Hospital. Born in Modesto, CA, she was the daughter of the late Elmer and Bessie Risinger Heaston. Jean was the loving wife of Paul H. Keller and they observed their 46th wedding anniversary in August of last year. In March of this year Jean retired from Brethren Village, Lancaster, where she worked as a nurse's aide for over 27 years. Jean grew up in Modesto, California, and moved to Pennsylvania in 1981 where she helped her husband on the family farm. She was an active and faithful member of Grace Church of Lititz, and served in various ministries. Jean was a member of the Navigators Sunday School class, Women's Bible Study, and served as a deacon with her husband at the church. Her lifelong passion was her family, and she enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren. Surviving in addition to her husband, are two daughters, Charlene, wife of Jeff Mummau of Manheim, Brenda Keller of Arlington, VA; two grandchildren, Morgan Mummau and Drew Mummau. Preceding her in death is a brother, Robert Heaston. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend her memorial service at Grace Church of Lititz, 501 West Lincoln Avenue, Lititz, on Saturday, June 23, 2012 at 1:00 PM. Interment will be private in the Midway Church of the Brethren Cemetery, South Lebanon Township. Friends may visit with the family following the memorial service at Grace Church on Saturday afternoon.
