Jean K. Lehman, 79, formerly of Ephrata, passed away peacefully on Friday, May 6, 2016 at the Denver Health and Rehabilitation Center in Stevens. Born in Lititz, she was the daughter of the late Mervin Kline and Ruth Hollinger and wife of the late Galen B. Lehman, who passed away in 2006.
She was a sewing machine operator at the Hopeland Manufacturing Company for many years. Jean was a member of the Brunnerville United Methodist Church and the Baron Stiegel Lioness Club in Brickerville.
Jean enjoyed going to dinner theaters, socializing with her friends and spending time with her family, who were her pride and joy. When she did travel, she was especially fond of the New England States.
She will be lovingly missed by her daughter, Kathryn Applegarth-Hoffer, Lancaster; two sons, John Lehman, husband of Janet, Hopeland; Galen Mark Lehman, husband of Doris, New Holland; 12 grandchildren, Bryan, Matthew, Shawn Applegarth-husband of Keysi ; Ben, Thomas and Miriah Lehman; Kacey, Korey ,husband of Mandee and Katelyn Lehman; Ashley Kohl wife of Eric; Jonathan & Jeremy Williams; 14 great grandchildren; a half-sister, Jane Wolfe-wife of Bruce, Ephrata; a half-brother, Mervin Kline, Jr., East Petersburg.
Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend Jean’s Funeral Service at the Brunnerville United Methodist Church, 517 Pine Hill Rd., Lititz, on Tuesday, May 10, 2016 at 4:00 p.m. There will be a viewing on Tuesday from 3:00 p.m. until the time of the service. Interment will be in the Brunnerville United Methodist Cemetery.
