Jane Louise Devers Scheuchenzuber (91) formerly of Lancaster, PA., peacefully passed away in Tomball, TX on January 1, 2013. She is preceded in death by her husband of 65 years George A. Scheuchenzuber Sr., her parents: Luther F. Devers and Bertha Mae Smith Devers, her sisters: Dorothy Musser, Ruth Homsher and Betty Gibble, her brother Stine Devers, and her daughter Deloris Strange. She will be greatly missed by her children: George & Florence Metzger Scheuchenzuber, Michael & Lucy Nemchenko Scheuchenzuber, Justin & Karen Buch Scheuchenzuber and Paul Scheuchenzuber, her grandchildren: George III, Juliana, David, April, James, Jason, Emily, Amy, and Austin, her great-grandchildren: George IV, Anna, Molly, Jasper, Olivia, Michael and Lily, and her great-great granddaughter Abigail. Jane was a performer with the Reg Kehoe All Girl Marimba Band and entertained on Hamid's Million Dollar Pier in Atlantic City, NJ. For many years Jane was an antique and collectibles dealer. Jane was a devoted wife and mother, and she loved to dance, cook and collect antiques. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 440 St. Joseph Street, Lancaster on Monday, January 7, 2013 at 10:30 AM. Interment in St. Joseph New Catholic Cemetery, Lancaster. Recitation of the Rosary at 9:15 AM with a public viewing to follow from 9:30 AM until the time of Mass. Please omit flowers.
