Jane Graybill Eshelman, 86, of Manheim, died peacefully at her home on Friday, July 31, 2015. Born in Penn Township, she was the daughter of the late Joseph C. and Mina M. Brubaker Graybill. Jane was the loving wife of the late John A. Eshelman who died in October of 1988. She worked many years as a school bus driver. Jane was a member of the White Oak Church of the Brethren, Manheim, and volunteered with Brethren Disaster Relief. She enjoyed flower gardening especially growing roses, bird watching, and extending hospitality to her friends and family.
Surviving is a sister, Mary Jean wife of Elvin Metzler of Manheim, two step sons: Glenn M. husband of Shirley Eshelman of Strasburg, J. Kenneth Eshelman of Elizabethtown, a step daughter, Linda R. wife of Bob Shenk of Mount Joy, a step daughter-in-law, Helen Eshelman Holmes of Elizabethtown, 10 step grandchildren, 33 step great grandchildren,3 step great great grandchildren, two nephews: Jeryl L. Metzler of Manheim, Joel K. Metzler of Greencastle, a niece, N. Kristell Wenger of Manheim, and great nieces and great nephews.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Jane’s memorial service at the White Oak Church of the Brethren, 1211 North Penryn Road, Manheim, on Saturday, August 8, 2015 at 11:00 AM. Immediately following the memorial service everyone is invited to attend a meal in the fellowship hall of the church. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family in Manheim Fairview Cemetery, Penn Township.
