Jane A. Bruckhart, 81, of Manheim died on Sunday, December 12, 2010 at Essa Flory Hospice Center, Lancaster after a brief illness.
Born in Sinking Springs, she was the daughter of the late William R. Sr. and Mabel Hendricks Gates. Retiring in 1992, Jane worked as a receptionist at the Fenner Drives Company, Manheim for twenty years. Previously, she worked in the billing department at the former Raymark Industries, Manheim for seven years. She was the wife of the late Clair S. Bruckhart who died in 1994. Jane was a member of Trinity Evangelical Congregational Church, Manheim. She loved to spend time with her family.
Surviving are two daughters, Karen Bruckhart Pepper of San Antonio, Texas, Patricia E. wife of Rick L. Hoffman of Landisville; two grandsons, Jeremy husband of Angela Bigler and Joel husband of Angela Bigler both of Landisville; two brothers, William R. Jr. husband of Mary Jane Gates of Lancaster, Tom G. husband of Jean Gates of Manheim and two sisters, Bennetta M. Shelly of Manheim and Mary E. wife of Charles Zinn of Durham, North Carolina.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend her funeral service from the Trinity Evangelical Congregational Church, 48 Market Square, Manheim on Thursday, December 16, 2010 at 11:00 AM with Pastor Jeffrey C. Schell officiating. Interment in Manheim Fairview Cemetery, Penn Township. There will be a public viewing at the Buch Funeral Home, 21 Market Square, Manheim on Wednesday evening from 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM and again at the church on Thursday morning from 10:00 AM until the time of service.
