James W. “Jim” Maiden, 87, of Naples, FL and Elizabethtown, PA passed away after a brief illness on Saturday January 17, 2015 at his residence in Elizabethtown. He was the husband of Kitty (Rockett) Maiden and they observed their 44th wedding anniversary in September of 2014. Born in Aliquippa, PA he was the son of the late Reese and Blanche (Lehne) Maiden. He was a graduate of Geneva College in Beaver Falls, PA where he received his B.S. and M.S. degrees. Jim proudly served his country in U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. Jim had worked for the former Mobil Oil Co. as an engineer for 30 years. He was a member of the Moorings Presbyterian Church in Naples, FL, the masonic lodge of Aliquippa, and enjoyed crossword puzzles. There are no other surviving family members.
Friends are respectfully invited to attend his funeral service at the John S. Sell Memorial Chapel on the grounds of the Masonic Village, Elizabethtown PA on Friday January 23, 2015 at 1:00 P.M. There will be a public viewing at Sell Chapel on Friday from 12 noon until the time of the service.
