James R. "Jim" Schlotzhauer

James R. “Jim” Schlotzhauer, 48, of Manheim died unexpectedly on Monday, August 4, 2014. Born in Lancaster, he was the son of George W. and Ethel F. (Harvie) Schlotzhauer of Manheim. Jim worked in construction most of his life and he loved to spend time with his family. An avid outdoorsman, Jim enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Surviving in addition to his parents are three sons, James R. Schlotzhauer Jr. of Manheim, Jesse J. Schlotzhauer of Lebanon, Jonathan J. Schlotzhauer of Manheim, a daughter, Brooke Schlotzhauer of Manheim and a brother, Theron D. Schlotzhauer of Lititz.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend his memorial service at the Buch Funeral Home, 21 Market Square, Manheim on Tuesday, August 12, 2014 at 7:00 PM. Interment will be private. Friends may visit with the family at the funeral home on Tuesday evening from 6:00 PM until the time of service.
