James M. Tuma

James M. Tuma, 81, formerly of Cranston, RI, died peacefully on Saturday, May 21, 2011 at his home in Athol, MA. Born in Corner Brook, Newfoundland, he was the son of the late Simon and Rose Basha Tuma. James was a self-employed jewelry model maker; he held a masters degree in watch making from Bowman Technical School in Lancaster. He was the husband of the late Fay B. Stormfeltz Tuma who was formerly of Manheim, PA and died in 2004. Surviving are two sons: Simon J. husband of Ellen Stuart-Tuma of Framingham, MA., Andrew M. husband of Kristine DelVecchio-Tuma of Macungie, PA., three grandchildren: Brittany, Drew, Brendan, and a sister, Nora Alteen of Newfoundland. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend his funeral service from the Buch Funeral Home 21 Market Square, Manheim, PA., on Tuesday, May 31, 2011 at 11:00 AM with the Reverend Francis T. Menei officiating. Interment will be in Conestoga Memorial Park, Lancaster. There will be a viewing at the funeral home on Tuesday morning from 10:00 AM until the time of the service. In Lieu of flowers contributions may be sent in James' memory to the American Diabetes Association 3544 North Progress Avenue, Suite 101, Harrisburg, PA 17110.
