James E. "Jim" Hockenberry III

 James E. “Jim” Hockenberry III, of Manheim, passed away on Saturday, June 22, 2024 at Penn State Health Lancaster Medical Center. Born in Lancaster, he was the son of the late James E. Hockenberry, Jr. and Maybelle Christ Groff, and his step father Wilmer Groff. He was the husband of Beverly A. “Bev” Hollinger Hockenberry. Jim retired from Armstrong, Lancaster. He was a member of Ruhl’s United Methodist Church, Manheim where he enjoyed going on mission trips. Jim also enjoyed hunting and camping. 

 Surviving in addition to his wife, Bev, are two sons, Robert husband of Nicole of Elizabethtown, Rodney husband of Brittney of Lebanon, three granddaughters, Emily, Elizabeth and Saige, one great grandson, Elijah, and a niece, Sandy wife of Gary Lantz of Delta. He was preceded in death by a brother, Ronald Hockenberry.
