Jack Reed

Jack Reed, 18, of East Petersburg, died unexpectedly, Thursday March 17, 2016 at Lancaster General Hospital. Jack is the son of Keith L. and Tessa (Messenger) Reed. Jack was a student at New Story School in Mountville. Jack attended Hempfield United Methodist Church, Lancaster. Jack enjoyed building with Lego’s, investigating the Harley Davidson Ultra- Low Limited, and writing short stories.

Surviving in addition to his parents is a sister Amanda at home; maternal great-grandmother Viola Frame of Holtwood, maternal grandparents Frederick husband of Ellen (Frame) Messenger of Holtwood; an uncle Kelly husband of Kristi Reed of Lancaster; and numerous other relatives.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend his funeral service at the Buch Funeral Home, 21 Market Square, Manheim on Wednesday March 23, 2016 at 1:00 PM. Interment will be in Ruhl’s United Methodist Cemetery. There will be time of visitation with the family at the funeral home on Tuesday March 22, 2016 from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm, and also on Wednesday from 12 noon until the time of the service.
