Ivan W. Weaver

Ivan M. Weaver, 87, of 20 Wood Corner Road Lititz, died Tuesday, January 26, 2010 at 650 Winding Hill Road Newport, PA. Born in Weaverland, he was the son of the late Henry and Martha Martin Weaver. Ivan farmed in Lebanon and Tioga Counties. He was the husband of Emma H. Burkholder Good Weaver and they observed their 18th wedding anniversary in July of last year. His first wife Lavina Weaver Weaver died in February of 1989. Ivan was a member of the White Oak Mennonite Church Manheim.
Surviving in addition to his wife, is a son, Leon husband of Velma Sauder Weaver of Ephrata, a daughter, Miriam wife of John H. Stover of Emory, Texas, a daughter, Erma wife of Glenn Martin of Myerstown, a daughter, Helen wife of John David Martin of Woodbury, Tenn., a son, Luke husband of Lois Stover Weaver of Myerstown, a daughter, Lavina wife of David High of Pitman, PA. a son, Ivan husband of Verna Horst Weaver of Liverpool, PA., a daughter, Minerva wife of Aaron Weaver of Millmont, PA., a son, Glen husband of Anna Wenger Weaver of Millmont, a daughter, Sara wife of Elber Calderon of New Holland, a son, Carl husband of Vera Hoover Weaver of Beaver Springs, PA., 85 grandchildren, 165 great grandchildren, two step daughters: Arlene Elizabeth wife of Leon Zimmerman of Lebanon, Esther Mae wife of Mahlon Herr of Ephrata, a step son, Ivan husband of Naomi Weaver Good of Versailles, Missouri, five sisters: Anna Mary wife of Ivan Sensenig of Ephrata, Edna wife of Luke Weaver of Middletown, Eva wife of Martin Nolt of Peach Bottom, Alta wife of Donald Hollinger of Rothsville, Minerva wife of Elmer Nolt of Talmage, and a brother, Ervin Weaver of Coatesville. He was preceded in death by a grandson, Mark Martin and a granddaughter, Doris Weaver, a brother, Frank Weaver, a sister, Esther Hostetter, and a brother, Clarence Weaver.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend his funeral service from the White Oak Mennonite Church 2456 Newport Road Manheim, PA on Friday, January 29, 2010 at 9:00 AM. There will be a Public viewing at the White Oak Mennonite Church on Thursday afternoon from 2: 00 PM to 4:00 PM and Thursday evening from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. There will be additional viewing time on Friday afternoon from 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM at the Hartleton Mennonite Church Laurel Road Millmont, PA with interment immediately following the viewing in the adjoining church cemetery.
