Irene S. Rohrer

Irene S. Rohrer, 98, formerly of Lititz entered her heavenly home on Tuesday, November 1, 2016 at Pleasant View Retirement Community, Manheim. Born in Rapho Township, she was the daughter of the late John and Emma Snavely Haldeman. She was the wife of the late Levi F. Rohrer who died in 2011. Irene was a member of White Oak Church of the Brethren, Manheim. Her interests included reading, puzzles, gardening, handcrafts and she loved to spend time with her family.

Surviving are four children, Ronald H. husband of Christine Gibble Rohrer, Larry H. husband of Linda Kover Rohrer, Judith H. wife of John G. Myer and Dennis H. husband of Brenda Brubaker Rohrer all of Manheim, 11 grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Oliver and Elmer Haldeman and two sisters, Elizabeth Faus and Stella Shelly.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend her funeral service at White Oak Church of the Brethren, 1211 North Penryn Road, Manheim on Tuesday, November 8, 2016 at 10:30 AM. There will be a public viewing at Pleasant View Retirement Community, Hoffer Auditorium, 544 North Penryn Road, Manheim on Monday evening from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM with additional viewing at the church on Tuesday morning from 9:30 AM until the time of service. Interment in the adjoining church cemetery.
