Irene Anita Bardsley

Irene Anita Bardsley, 90, of Elizabethtown, died Sunday February 19, 2012 at the Masonic Village Health Care Center, Elizabethtown. She was the wife of the late Robert Bardsley who died in 1980. Born in Philadelphia she was the daughter of the late Lloyd and Mary Frances (French) Esterline. She was a homemaker most of her life, taking care of her husband and children. She was a member of Tully Memorial Presbyterian Church in Sharon Hill, PA. Irene enjoyed crocheting, reading, arts & crafts, and shopping. Surviving is a daughter Wendy wife of Raymond George of Collegeville; three sons, Arthur husband of Rita Bardsley of Havertown, Jeffrey husband of Linda Bardsley of Spring City, Robert A. husband of Kathleen Bardsley of Phoenixville; seven grandchildren; three great-granddaughters; and a sister Frances Greene of Dunnellon, FL. In addition to her husband and parents she was preceded in death by a son Stephen R. Bardsley, a sister, and two brothers. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend her funeral service at the John S. Sell Memorial Chapel, on the grounds of the Masonic Village at Elizabethtown, on Friday February 24, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. Interment will be private. There will a public viewing on Friday at Sell Chapel from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the service.
