Hunter Robert Newton, 32, of Manheim passed away on Tuesday, September 15, 2020. He was born in Akron, Ohio on March 25, 1988, the son of Robert A. Newton of Erie and Thea S. Newton-Schock of Manheim.
Taken from this life way to young he was a kind, sensitive caring person, full of life with an infectious smile. Always the kidder, Hunter enjoyed helping and making others laugh. When young, he was a top BMX bike racer. As an adult, Hunter loved motorcycles of all types and spending time outdoors. Hunter cherished times with his brother, Taylor N. Newton of Edinboro and his boxer Lilly. You could find Hunter well dressed, listening to music any moment of the day. He will be profoundly missed by his family and friends.
Surviving in addition to his parents and brother is Hunter’s “second mom” Aunt Cheryl Newton, his step-father, Dave Schock, and his father’s fiancé, Liz Wilson. He is further survived by paternal grandmother, Margaret Forstchen, several aunts and uncles, and his beloved cousins: Travis and Dylan Kuehn as well as countless friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit with family at 6:00 PM on Monday, September 21, 2020 at the Buch Funeral Home, 21 Market Square, Manheim, followed by a service at 7:00 PM. Private interment will follow at a later date. Social distancing and masks are required.
