Helen M. Webb, 80, of Manheim, died peacefully on Sunday, December 10, 2017 at Cedar Haven, Lebanon. Born in Lancaster County, she was the daughter of the late Leon D. and Mildred Boozel Gifford. Helen was the loving wife of the late Nelson R. “Snook” Webb who died in December of 1993. She worked for Buckell Plastics in Elm. Helen was a member of St. Paul’s United Church of Christ, Manheim, the Elstonville Sportsmen’s Association, and the Manheim VFW Ladies Auxiliary. Helen received the Patriotic Recognition Award from the Manheim VFW Auxiliary for consistently flying the flag at her home in honor of veterans serving their country. Her interests included: knitting, crocheting, flower gardening, and bird watching. She was a true outdoors woman who loved to go camping with her husband, and could saw and split wood with the best of them. Helen also loved her many cats throughout the years.
Surviving is a daughter, Dawn L. wife of Harold K. Eisenhauer of Lebanon, three grandchildren: Ryan and Justin Webb, Brooke wife of Curtis Markle, and two sisters: Betty A. Rambler of Lititz, and Jean wife of Wilbur Oberholtzer of Florida. Preceding her in death is a son Jan P. Webb.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Helen’s funeral service at the Buch Funeral Home, 21 Market Square, Manheim, on Friday, December 15, 2017 at 11:00 AM. Friends may visit with the family at the funeral home on Friday morning from 10:00 AM until the time of the service. Interment will be in Penryn Cemetery.
