Harry T. “Tom” Williams, Jr, 71, of Mount Joy, died peacefully surrounded by his family on Tuesday, January 22, 2019 at Hospice and Community Care, Mount Joy. He was the loving husband of Barbara J. (Murphy) Williams, and they celebrated 49 years of marriage last July. Born in Cumberland MD, he was the son of the late H, Thomas Sr. and Ruth (Rowan) Williams. Tom was a medical practice manager for the West Shore Medical Practice and previously as the Penn State Hershey Medical Center. Tom was an active member of Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, Landisville where he was a choir member, Worship Leader, and enjoyed decorating the church for the holidays. He was also involved with the Hempfield Food Pantry, the Community Theater in Cumberland MD, and was a member of the VFW Post #6771 od Dillsburg.
Surviving in addition to his wife Barbara are two sons Michael A. Sr. husband of Kristen Williams, Myerstown; Kyle L. Williams and fiancé Anh Hua, Philadelphia; two grandchildren Michael A. Jr. and Savannah R. Williams; a sister Peggy A. wife of Rick Clark, LaVale MD, and a “Beloved pet, Sophie”.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend his memorial service at Zion Lutheran Church, 85 Brandt Blvd. Landisville, PA on Saturday January 26, 2019 at 1:00 PM. There will be a time of visitation with the family at the church from 12 noon until the time of the service. Interment with military honors will be at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville.
