Harold D. "Wig" Heisey

Harold D. "Wig" Heisey, 71 of Manheim, died on January 18, 2013 at the Lancaster General Hospital. Born in Lebanon, he was the son of Sadie Wilson Heisey of Mt. Wilson, and the late Jacob Heisey. Harold was the husband of Donna J. Arentz Heisey and they would have observed their 9th wedding anniversary in June of this year. Harold retired from the Manheim Auto Auction; previously he worked for the former Raymark Industries Manheim. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and was a member of the Dela-Ches Fishing Association. Surviving in addition to his wife, are two sons: Harold D. Jr. husband of Bonnie Heisey , Steven D. Sr. husband of Lori Heisey all of Palmyra, a daughter, Teresa M. wife of Dave Kochel of Campbelltown, 7 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, a brother, Kenneth L. husband of Ann Heisey of Annville, two sisters: Jeanette wife of Bob Rettew of Brigham City, Utah ,and Loretta wife of Herb Smith of Hummelstown. Preceding him in death is a brother, Roger L. Heisey. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend his funeral service at the Buch Funeral Home 21 Market Square, Manheim on Friday, January 25, 2013 at 11:00 AM. Interment will be in Hernley Mennonite Cemetery, Rapho Township. There will be a viewing at the funeral home on Friday morning from 10:00 AM till the time of service.
