Grace D. Stoner, 91, formerly of Fulton Street, Manheim died peacefully on Saturday, January 1, 2011 at Luther Acres Retirement Community, Lititz.
Born in Manor Township, she was the daughter of the late Howard N. and Florence Hershey Derstler. In 1956 Grace retired from the former Raymark Industries Manheim; where she was employed in the office for eighteen years. Following retirement she worked part time with her husband at the Manheim Auto Auction. She was the loving wife of Earl M. Stoner and they observed their 64th wedding anniversary in June of last year. Grace attended Lake View Bible Church Manheim, where she sang in the choir, and helped with visitation at the church. Her interests included: bicycling, reading, and knitting.
Surviving in addition to her husband; are three brothers: David C. husband of Joyce Derstler, A. Gordon husband of Lois Derstler all of Lititz, Paul D. Derstler of Manheim, two sisters: Hilda J. Young of Easton, and Florence L. Kershner of Lititz, and many nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death is a brother, Hershey Derstler, and a sister, Edith Vogel.
A private funeral service will be held at the convenience of the family. Interment will be in Manheim Fairview Cemetery, Penn Township. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be sent in Graces memory to Lake View Bible Church 383 Lake View Drive, Manheim, PA 17545.
