Gloria Darlene Lehigh

            Gloria “Darlene” Lehigh, 80, of York, passed away on June 3, 2024. Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late Lawrence and Mary Pipgress Brumbach. She graduated from Manheim Central High School in 1962. She was married June 8,1994 to Rodney F. Lehigh for 30 years. He passed away May 7, 2024. She retired as a Food Service Supervisor after 30 years from Dutch Wonderland and retired as a seamstress from the Manheim Garment Factory after 10 years. 

            Darlene is survived by her daughter Heather Proudfoot, Akron, daughter Donna Nonnenmocher, Manheim, son Eric Nonnenmocher, York, step-daughters, Theresa Lehigh, Lancaster, Shelly Lehigh, York, Patty Lehigh, York, Stephanie Guynn, York, grand-daughter Michelle Black, Mt. Joy, Derek Barshinger, Lancaster, Olivia Axe, Manheim, great grand-daughter Elyse Cooke & 3 step-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Kilhefner.

           She loved to sew, swim, go to the shore to eat Manco & Manco pizza and play bingo. She loved Tupperware and was the Tupperware Queen. She and Rodney were snowbirds and wintered in Florida for over 10 years.
