Gladys M. White

Gladys M. White, 83 of Manheim, died on Saturday, November 5, 2011 at the Pleasant View Retirement Community, Manheim following a brief illness. Born in Penn Township, she was the daughter of the late Paul and Mabel McFalls Galebach; and step daughter to the late Lydia Galebach. For over thirty years Gladys worked for the Manheim Auto Auction; previously she was employed at the former Hamilton Watch Company, Lancaster. She was the wife of the late Howard R. "Hop" White who died in 1990. Gladys was a member of Erb Mennonite Church in Lititz. She enjoyed traveling in her later years. Gladys had a passion for her family and loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. Surviving are two daughters: Patricia "Patty" wife of Carl L. Ginder of Manheim, Carolyn F. wife of Dean Robison of Lititz, three grandsons, and seven great grandchildren. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend her funeral service from the Hoffer Auditorium at Pleasant View Retirement Community 544 North Penryn Road, Manheim, on Wednesday, November 9, 2011 at 11:00 AM with Pastor Wesley D. Siegrist officiating. Interment is in Penryn Cemetery. There will be a viewing at the Hoffer Auditorium on Wednesday morning from 10:00 AM until the time of the service. Please omit flowers.
