Gladys B. Nauman, 89, of Manheim, died peacefully on Tuesday, July 4, 2017 at the Masonic Village at Elizabethtown. Born in Fulton Township, she was the daughter of the late William and Mabel Riley Booth. Gladys was the loving wife of the late Robert F. Nauman who died in March of 2012. For many years Gladys worked for the former RCA Corporation, Lancaster. Following retirement, she served as a Red Cross volunteer at the Lancaster General Hospital. She was a member of St. Paul’s United Church of Christ, Manheim. Gladys was also a member of the Order of the Amaranth, Lancaster Court Number 70. Gladys had a life-long passion for her family and enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Surviving are three sons, Todd E. husband of Debra Nauman of Manheim, Kirby R. husband of Kathy Nauman of Manheim, Wesley J. husband of Karen Nauman of Mount Joy, seven grandchildren, two great grandchildren, a brother, Dwight Booth companion of Debbie Boehler of The Villages, Fl., and two sisters: Dolores wife of Robert Groff and Marguerite Glynn all of Lititz. Preceding her in death is a brother, William Booth, and two sisters: Joretta Morgan and Betty Ann Sulzer.
The family would like to thank all of the home care staff that provided assistance to Gladys at her residence over the years and also Masonic Hospice and the staff at Masonic Village at Elizabethtown for their compassionate care that was provided to her during her illness.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Gladys’ funeral service at the Buch Funeral Home, 21 Market Square, Manheim, on Tuesday, July 11, 2017 at 10:30 AM. There will be a viewing at the funeral home on Tuesday morning from 9:30 AM until the time of the service. Interment will be in Hernley Mennonite Cemetery, Manheim.
